About Us
Pittsburgh Air Radio Inc. is a full service avionics shop providing avionics repairs, installations and sales. Founded in 1959, we have a professional and experienced staff to provide for all of your avionics needs. We are located on Allegheny County Airport (KAGC) in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. The Allegheny County Airport serves as the primary FAA designated reliever airport for the Pittsburgh International Airport (KPIT). The airport supports a high volume of general aviation, business and corporate-related activity.  The yearly number of operations per year (over 139,000 takeoffs and landings) makes Allegheny County Airport is the fifth busiest airport in Pennsylvania.  Our convenient location makes us a two-hour flight or less from more than 70 percent of the U.S. population and 50 percent of the Canadian population.
