Pittsburgh Air Radio was founded in 1959 as an FAA approved avionics repair station. In 2020, the company, which is located at Allegheny County Airport in Western Pennsylvania, was purchased and became QAI Aviation. QAI Aviation's capabilities include avionics installations, upgrades and repairs for both fixed wing and rotor wing aircrafts. We have experienced and factory-trained personnel that provide our customers with quality avionics repairs, modifications, upgrades and troubleshooting while also stressing safety, professionalism and the core values of the company.

QAI Aviation offers 24/7 AOG troubleshooting and repair support performed at your location. Please call 412-469-8400 for AOG services. Our mobile team is also equipped to perform certifications on your aircraft at your site.
